The teenage years can be tumultuous. Changing bodies, school and peer pressure and todays’ technology can overwhelm a child. The internet and cell phones have added an additional stressor to an already challenging time of life. Adolescents are struggling with their identities and where they fit into the world, they are beginning to discover how relationships work and to consider college and career options. Adolescents can also be risk takers and poor decision makers. All these factors can make parenting teenagers stressful and frustrating.
